Wall panels and facade systems
Different styles of Metrapan facade and wall panels, with polyurethane or mineral wool fillings
As part of the Metrapan sales programme, we offer a wide variety of insulating facade or wall panels with insulation thickness ranging from 25 mm to 240 mm and different insulations (PIR – polyurethane filler with B s2 d0, PUR - polyurethane filler, MINERAL WOOL - provides REI fire resistance).
Metal and facade panels are an excellent choice for the facade, as they are available in different styles and color versions that add a modern look to the building, and at the same time they are available with different types of insulation. They are also a good choice for the facade because they provide excellent protection for the building , which does not require a lot of maintenance . They are also known for their low weight and easy assembly. Metal facade panels are one of the most diverse panels on the market, suitable for external and internal walls of various buildings. They are an ideal component for buildings that require light, strong and insulating materials and are therefore used for various construction projects.
Metal facade and wall panels are very effective in protecting the building and supporting structure from UV rays, acid rain, industrial pollution and other adverse weather conditions. Metal panels, especially aluminum panels, are distinguished by their light weight, but at the same time they are considered a strong and solid facade, which provides excellent thermal and sound insulation of the building . Metal panels are known for their quick and easy installation, as this material allows for easy cutting, joining and drilling.
Insulation is a very important part of facade and wall systems, as it maintains the temperature of the interior spaces and much more. The facade panel consists of thermal insulation, which is surrounded by sheet metal on both sides. We know many different types of insulation, such as polyurethane foam and mineral wool, each available in different thicknesses between 30 and 200 mm.
Using polyurethane foam is an acceptable, durable and safe way to reduce emissions. Polyurethane panels are light, strong and resistant to moisture , as well as easy to install. Polyurethane foam is versatile, efficient and suitable for upgrading even older buildings.
Mineral wool is an insulation with low thermal conductivity, resistant to high temperatures, does not burn and is a good sound insulator. The disadvantages of this insulation are its poor degradability and poor conductivity if it gets wet.
